How can a group of people that call themselves a “band” really function if none of them informs the other when they book shows? Isn’t a band all about team work and team effort? Not everyone has the same schedule, some people have jobs, some people have school, and some people have relationships. It is most certainly not okay to book shows without asking what the other band mates are doing on those days. A show was booked on my birthday and the day after without my boyfriend even being informed. I know it sounds selfish to care so much about my birthday but last year was so awful, this one just has to top it. And to think my boyfriend will be going to play a show in Los Banos instead of being with me in Monterey is just batshit crazy. I’m sorry but if you think your band is more important than our relationship then we’ve got problems.
